The Erasmus+ Project titled «Climate Ambassadors in Action» with code 2023-1-HU01-KA210-SCH-000154521 has started.

Partner Schools are Educational Center for Environment and Sustainability (ECES) of Karpenisi, Greece and Hamza Yerlikaya Ortaokulu, Sivas, Türkiye
Objectives of the program
To increase our students’ knowledge about the causes and consequences of climate change and to enable them to develop a positive attitude towards the fight against climate change
To inform, inspire and support their communities and networks about EU climate policy/European Climate Pact by our students
To Strengthen our students’ civic engagement, social responsibility and active citizenship skills
Project Management
There happened and will be Online meetings for Project Management between the Partners
Our Project’s Logo was selected by more than 220 Teachers and Students from our Schools and also our slogan is: “Make Earth Cool Again”
Main Learning/Teaching and Training Activities
There will be Climate Ambassadors Student Club’s Activities(In-school and Local), a Teacher Training Workshop In Greece and 3 Student Workshops, one in each country: Hungary, Turkey and Greece.
Meetings and Events
A First Virtual Activity: Climate Ambassadors Come Together Online, held in 29th of February
There will be a Second Virtual Activity: Erasmus+ Reflections of Climate Ambassadors and 3 Multiplier Events, one in each country: Hungary, Turkey and Greece.
Project Deliverables/Outcomes
- “Handbook for Implementation of the Climate Ambassadors Program at School”: The content of this outcome will include principles, recommendations and guidance for implementing the Climate Ambassadorship as a program in schools
- “Digital Portfolio”: Archive of all the works produced by our students in line with “Global Warming and Climate Change” (Pictures, mind maps, PPTs, articles, fliers, cartoons, digital posters, slogans,etc.)
