The Erasmus+ program entitled “Environmental Education in Action” and code 2022-1-PL01-KA210-SCH-000080902 has completed. It was implemented from November 2022 until January 2024.
Coordinating Body was Zespol Szkolno-Przedszkolny nr 1 School, Raciborz, Poland.
Collaborating Institutions were the Center for Education for the Environment and Sustainability (ECES) of Karpenisi from Greece, “Oltea Doamna” Secondary School, Oradea from Romania, Institute Comprehensive IC Pontassieve from Italy and Hamza Yerlikaya Ortaokulu and Dorteylul Secondary Schools , Sivas from Turkey.
Objectives of the program
The transition from theory to practice in Environmental Education and the exchange of good practices. Raising students’ awareness of climate change, and the adoption of ecological behaviors. The use of experiential environmental education for lasting changes in students’ daily lives.
Activities
March 2023: Webinar where Students from all schools showcased photo collections for ecological good practices.
April 2023: Seminar in Oradea, Romania: Familiarity with the activities of an Ecological School.
May 2023: Seminar in Raciborz, Poland: Good practices in school environmental education.
September 2023: Seminar in Karpenisi, Greece: Experiential Environmental Education with outdoor activities.
October 2023: Seminar in Pontassieve, Italy: Enriching an environmental program with history and art.
October 2023: Webinar where Students from all schools showcased “Happy Nature” and “Upset Nature” photo collections.
